Back by Popular Demand – the next event in our Food & Wine Pairings Series
Do the French deserve their reputation for having the best wines in the world? Come learn about the role of terroir… the special characteristics that geography, geology and climate impart on wine.Eight wines will be tasted including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each wine pairing will be from two different global regions. For instance, one Sauvignon Blanc will be from the Loire Valley of France and the other will be from the Marlborough Region of New Zealand. We will explore how different terroir affects and creates differences in the wines. Each grape varietal will be matched with a food course specifically selected by Chef Will.
