Time Off: The Works of Our Local Communities’ Art Teachers at Capital Health – featuring
works by art teachers during their “time off” free from their professional and school obligations, and included art by Lora Marie Durr, Carolyn McGrath, Sean Carney, Joslyn Johnson, and Cheryl Bomba.

5th Annual Amazing Pumpkin Carve – The HV Arts Council was thrilled to host, for the fifth year in a row and the third year at Woolsey Park, the Amazing Pumpkin Carve! October 11 to 14
ArtConnect Foruma key component of the HV Arts Council’s newest program, ArtConnect: Creating Opportunities for ArtistsThis new community event is the place to explore your passion and appreciation for art in a fun, collaborative and social setting. This Forum’s speakers: Joy Kreves, Charles Miller, and Mira DeMartino September 18
Pennington Summer Concert Series -On the lawn of Howe Commons in Pennington Borough at Howe Commons to listen to fantastic music brought to the community by the Pennington Parks and Recreation. HV Arts Council offered free creative art activities for all ages, including including coloring mandalas and painting art spires, so please find us under our tent. July 18 and August 15

Remembering Norma Jean: A Retrospective of the Works of Norma Jean (NJ) DeVico at Capital Health –  witness this late local artist’s immense talent, wit with words, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor in this show remember her life and art. April 4 – July 31

Big Read: Decorate a Cardboard Horse – As part of Small Town, Big Read: True Grit, be part of the cardboard horse stampede. Ride off into the sunset wearing your own decorated cardboard horse! As part of the “Small Town, Big Read” community-wide event with the Pennington Library, HV Arts Council invites kids to decorate wearable cardboard horses at Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 Main Street. ArtConnect Forum – a key component of the HV Arts Council’s newest program, ArtConnect: Creating Opportunities for ArtistsThis new community event is the place to explore your passion and appreciation for art in a fun, collaborative and social setting. This Forum’s speakers: Lynn DeClemente Losavio, Collection Manager of The Seward Johnson Atelier and Gyuri Hollósy, Hungarian-American sculptor and painter.  March 21, 2019

Joy in the Everyday, an HV Arts Council Members Art Show at Capital Health –  an exhibition of works by members of the Hopewell Valley Arts Council at the Investors Bank Art & Healing Gallery at Capital Health.
