In addition to community events throughout the year, we also have ongoing public art projects including:

Out of the Ashes (2018-2019): To commemorate the virtual loss of this beautiful American tree from the emerald ash borer and, in the spirit of the HV Arts Council’s ongoing upcycling theme – making art out of trash and typically discarded items, Out of the Ashes will include a diverse series of art programs, exhibits and community events to be held throughout 2018.

The Stampede (oldie but a goodie): The Stampede was the Hopewell Valley Arts Council’s first initiative, launched in 2013. Modeled after an art project introduced in Zurich, Switzerland, Hopewell’s budding art organization hosted its own large-scale, Valley-wide  public art exhibit of oxen “roaming” throughout the Valley.
