Design Statement

For this piece I wanted to create something that was reflective of the nature of the surface I was painting on. Keeping this in mind, I wanted to develop a composition that was abstract, beautiful, colorful and as complex as nature itself. On multiple sides of the post there is a mixture of both organic and geometric like multi colored shapes accompanied by a refined green leafy vine to shed light onto both the subjects that lay in the foreground and background of the post.
