Design Statement

Poem about the loss of our ash trees written by Betty from the ash tree’s perspective:

“Out of the ashes you have found me,
All that’s left of a mighty ash tree.
Emerald ash borers took me down.
How to beat them must be found.”

 

Materials: Special unicorn spit acrylic paint, tung oil and poly finish
