The Butterfly Effect

by The Kalina Family

Design Statement

The butterfly effect is the idea that small things in one environment can have a big impact on another environment elsewhere. The simple act of a butterfly flapping its wings can lead to a change in a larger environment across the globe. Our spire demonstrates the growth of a butterfly and is symbolic of how we all evolve.

About the Artist

The Kalina family enjoys spending time together by working on various art, craft and wood working projects. We also enjoy and take advantage of the amazing outdoor activities that Mercer County has to offer. We love listening to music, going for bike rides, and taking our dog, Reggie, for walks.
