As the Stampede public art exhibit helped reveal, our Valley is rich with talent and interest in the arts. We were thrilled to see how the Community engaged with the oxen, but even more excited to witness your creativity at work – in selfies, photo albums and mementos, dress-like-the ox pictures and your stories of inspiration.
In an effort to promote more creative opportunities for all, highlight area artistic talents, and bring a little more art in the everyday, the Hopewell Valley Arts Council is offering the following events and programs:
- A series of Summer Art Workshops for Kids of all Ages will bring a little creativity in to your options for fun in July and August. These are small workshops, and registration is required, so sign up soon to ensure your spot!
- October 8 through October 11: This year Howell Living History Farm’s annual corn maze will host the aMAZing pumpkin carve, an awesome display of giant carved pumpkins!
