Here’s the information you need to plan your visit today and every day to the Amazing Pumpkin Carve, including schedule and hours of operation, special events, location and ticket information.

What is the Amazing Pumpkin Carve?

The Amazing Pumpkin Carve is a unique walk-though exhibit of 50 giant pumpkins that have been transformed by some of the region’s best artists into works of art. Learn more about the Pumpkin Carve. Now in its second year, last year’s Carve delighted thousands with pumpkins that exceeded expectations. See a gallery of our 2015 pumpkins.

aMAZing Pumpkin Clock2016 promises to be even more amazing. Many of the returning artists have been planning their pumpkin for the past year and new artists, attracted by last year’s event, are ready to take on the challenge! (For the artists, this is a competition with judging and prizes.)

Where is the Amazing Pumpkin Carve?

The Pumpkin Carve takes place on the grounds of the Howell Living History Farm Corn Maze, one mile west of the Howell Farm historic site, at 17 Valley Road in Hopewell Township, New Jersey. This address may be listed as Lambertville in some GPS and mapping programs. The Carve is only open for two weekends, Fri.-Mon., October 7-10 (Columbus Day weekend) and Fri.-Sun., October 14-16.

Can we do both the Howell Farm Corn Maze and the Pumpkin Carve?

Absolutely! Strolling through the Pumpkin Carve and solving the “puzzle” of the Corn Maze makes for a fun Fall afternoon or evening. The pace of both activities is totally up to you but most families and groups probably take about two hours to complete the Maze and walk through the Carve.Howell Farm Corn Maze 20th Anniversary sign

Are there other things to do at the Corn Maze grounds?

Yes. Every weekend is full of Fall fun, like pumpkin carving demonstrations; racing your friends on mini-tricycles; milking a “cow” (a simulated plywood cow); and the ever popular rubber ducky water chute race.

You may also want to grab lunch or a snack at the snack bar, with freshly cooked hamburgers, hotdogs, popcorn and other goodies and sweets.

And don’t forget to take photos! There are lots of fun photo opportunities!

Can I post photos of the pumpkins and the artists’ work at the Carve to my social media?
