We hope you had a chance to visit Howe Commons on Saturday, May 17, where we unveiled the first completed ox of the Hopewell Valley Stampede! “Moodrian”, the ox created by Central High School artists and their teacher Dr. O’Boyle was on display, along with Timberlane Middle School’s partially finished ox and some oxen in process. In the fall, these oxen will join over 60 siblings as part of the Stampede public art display throughout Hopewell Valley.
We hope you had a chance to stop by to greet these new members of the community, see artists at work on their own masterpieces, and take a “selfie” with Olly. A number of Hopewell Valley artists displayed their works on the Artists’ Walk: Bob Barish, Kristen Birdsey, Kit Greener, Cindy Lailwala, Yetzenia Levia, Carol Lipson, Janet Purcell, Nancy Stark, Dana Weekley, Jane Zamost, and the Pennington School Art Club.
