Meet “Moo’drian”, the ox created by High School artists and their teachers Pat Arbitell, Carolyn McGrath, and Doc O’Boyle

Olly has arrived at each of the six Hopewell Valley public schools! Through a generous donation from the Stampede’s Founding Sponsors, each school has received its very own ox for embellishment by the art teacher and students. Several of the art teachers have blogs, where you can follow their progress as they transform their ox into a beautiful work of art for their school.

“We are really looking forward to seeing the stampede this fall, and the doors to the Arts Council wide open for the community. We are also looking forward to enjoying painting this interesting canvas and the look of excitement on our students’ faces” — Joslyn Johnson, Art Teacher, Bear Tavern Elementary
