Michener Art Museum Tour & Lunch Amid the Sculptures

Join the Hopewell Valley Arts Council for an “Art Experience” at the James A. Michener Museum. Meet at the Michener Museum for a fascinating private tour of this renowned museum, named after Doylestown’s most famous son and Pulitzer-Prize winning writer. The Museum houses a world-class collection of Pennsylvania Impressionist paintings, the Nakashima Reading Room, the Daniel Garber mural, and special exhibitions showcasing a wide range of historical and contemporary work attracting more than 135,000 visitors from around the world each year.
You will be treated to a casual lunch prepared by Catering By Design served in the Patricia D. Pfundt Sculpture Garden, which is dramatically surrounded by historic prison walls from the museum’s original structure. After lunch, leisurely explore the Museum shop, the art reserach library, and the dynamic glass-walled Edgar N. Putman Event Pavilion. Limited to 15 participants. What a way to spend a beautiful June day!
