Gas Pump Session & Art Lounge

On the last Wednesday monthly, the HV Arts Council partners to curate music for Gas Pump Sessions and local artwork for The Lounge at Ottoburger in Hopewell. NJ. This month, on Wednesday, April, 24, the Bakersfield band will bring to the stage the vibrant 50’s and 60’s California country sound. The Lounge exhibit features art photographs by Charles Miller and David Ackerman of Gallery 14. Artist reception from 6-7pm. Live music begins at 7pm.

About Bakersfield: The band is based in Hopewell, channels the vibrant country sound that emerged in California in the 1950s and ’60s. Playing tunes by Buck Owens and Merle Haggard, along with hits from artists like Alan Jackson and George Strait, they also delve into Americana classics by Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris. With a blend of male and female vocals and a diverse array of instruments, including electric and acoustic guitars, pedal steel, piano, bass, and drums, this band brings decades of experience and a deep passion for country music. Join us for a memorable evening of music.
