Family-Friendly Art Workshop: Discovering Your Magic

March 16 @ 2:00 am - 3:30 pm

Experience art as play in this family-friendly workshop! On Saturday, March 16, 2 to 3:30pm, Artist Jane Zamost will help us unlock our unique magic by letting our minds flow and the creative process to unfold with family and community. We will use an array of materials to create art that explores and celebrates what makes each one of us truly unique. Our creative journey will be our project’s goal; the end result, an added gift. Artists are welcome to work collaboratively or on their own. In collaboration with the Hopewell Valley Arts Council. Location: Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 S Main St, Pennington, NJ 08534.

Registration required: https://discoveringyourmagic.eventbrite.com

Recommended for ages 10+.

This event is part of the 2024 NEA Big Read hosted by the Pennington Public Library – an initiative designed to broaden our imaginations and understanding of our world, our neighbors, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book. The featured book Circe by Madeline Miller retells a Greek story from the eponymous heroine’s point of view, giving voice to a lesser goddess of Homer’s The Odyssey. Please visit PenningtonLibrary.org/2024BigRead for a full calendar of events and more information. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
