Art Talk: Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller – Sculptor of the Black American Experience
Join us for an engaging presentation on the life and work of Meta Vaux Warrick Fuller, one of the most imaginative American artists of her generation. Born in Philadelphia during Reconstruction and active through the Harlem Renaissance, Fuller was a protégée of Auguste Rodin and a powerful voice in chronicling the Black American experience through sculpture.
Arts educator Janet Mandel will explore Fuller’s remarkable career and lasting impact on American art and culture.
