Art Opportunity: New Hope Celebrates Call For Art
March 29 - April 10

Calling all artists! Hopewell Valley Arts Council is excited to share an amazing art opportunity with our community! New Hope Celebrates is holding their first Pride event at the River House on May 17, 2023, and they’re inviting artists to create and submit a piece of art for a Met Gala-inspired experience at their “Love is Love Gala”!
Here’s the message from New Hope Celebrates:
Your piece should be a representation of what Pride means to you, in whichever medium you choose, and we’re excited to see your creativity shine! We’re also thrilled to announce that half the proceeds from your work will be donated back to New Hope Celebrates.
Please note that art submissions should be on a larger scale, with a minimum size of 24x36in and a maximum of 60×60. Ten gold easels are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and a high-top table can be requested if needed.
We’d like all artists to commit to a piece by April 10, 2022, with a finished photographed piece by May 5, 2023, so we can begin promotion before the event. An online auction will go live on May 5, so we’ll need a photo of your piece for that.
If you’re interested in participating in this incredible opportunity, please email Ryan Segura or Eva Guasconi. Space is limited, so participation is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Please include your name, contact information, address, and a brief description of your proposed piece in the email.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to Ryan Segura (RyanS@newhopecelebrates.com), Eva Guasconi (EvaGuasconi@newhopecelebrates.com), or Eric Stephenson (Eric@newhopecelebrates.com). We look forward to working with you for this amazing event!
If you are in need of any special accommodation, please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to a program or event.
